Technology is changing at record pace. Students are doing more with iPods, cell phones and social media than ever before and they aren’t just using them for entertainment. Students are using them as communication tools, personal organizers and research devices. Schools across the country must begin re-evaluating their technology policies in order to adapt to these societal changes. It only stands to benefit student success post-graduation. Teachers must learn how these technologies can be used throughout the entire school curriculum in order to increase student engagement and improve academic performance.

are not able to bring it into the classroom
and make it work,
then it fails.”
~ Nancy Kassebaum, US Senator
